Intense 365 Month 3: Go Outside Already
Go Outside Already
(and walk for 10min)
I previously have done this particular challenge and found that the mental benefit was astounding.
Life happens outside of your apartment; it just does, and you can’t be a part of it if you’re indoors.
You may shuttle from one activity to the next, and you may have got your 10,000 steps in (totally arbitrary number by the way) but, the connection you get from existing in space with other humans, animals, and the weather is something you can not recreate in your house.
This part of the challenge is about wellness in your daily life, it may seem small but you have to create the space in which you would like to grow into.
This is a step in that direction or more accurately 10min worth of steps in the right direction.
Another Step, getting started :
If you are JUST getting started read this real quick you can legit start NOW!
Wanna check out the process. Read up below, but remember you can do what you need for YOUR journey.
Always Intense
Always Marika
There is a myriad of diets, workouts, and tips out there to capture the heart and minds of the masses. I will clear out some of the noise and give you the first diet you need to be on before you can truly succeed in any meaningful way.
Nothing can help to get your thoughts in order more than putting pen to paper. Moreover, after the year we just had, I’m guessing you have a lot on your mind.
I went into covid times with a pretty solid comfortability with little contact with others (re I cry alone) and daily helpings of ambiguity for breakfast.
Things are getting done and fires are extinguished, but I do not FEEL like I’m winning…why?
In our quest for survival, situation notwithstanding, most of us are maintaining with a combination of determination and apathy.
…in the past, I was building a castle, but this round, I'm just working on a rambler (that I can upgrade later).
…you will offer it up on the chopping block, but don't. This is why it's called a CHALLENGE.
This month's challenge will not change the randomness of life and death events, but it will increase your odds of having a loving convo with someone you care about before you no longer have the option.
If you have ever been in a situation where you were fearful or upset, you must have realized that doing nothing made it worse.
I'm not here to judge "our" drinking problem, I am trying to get us better hydrated.
I’m only asking that you start the process, I’m not asking you to sweat, I’m asking you to schedule.
What the hell happened here?
This sentence was repeated as I stepped on the scale last Sunday.
What does walking around trying not to get hit by cars, not bit by misquotes, not get chased by deer (yeah seriously) actually do?
Life happens outside of your apartment; it just does, and you can’t be a part of it if you’re indoors.
You don’t need to be a foodie to like novelty in your food life. We ALL like novelty in our lives in one form or another, but to achieve some level of success in hitting your personal goals, you gotta maintain a routine.
Before anyone opens their mouth to point out that McDonald’s sells salads and that restaurants can be even worse than a drive-thru,
I know.
I am not here to argue the merits of any of that,
because I don’t care and this isn’t court.
The truth of the matter was my last week or so was filled with an obscene amount of fast food.
Like gross levels.

Real talk: We got a whole a** year to get through, it’s not always going to be smooth sailing.

I realized that I no longer needed the same amount of comfort I did in April of 2020.
