Intense 365 Month 2: No Fast Food
The first month of the No 4 C’s has been an exercise in restraint. For the most part, it was working decently until my mother landed in the hospital. I am a stress eater 100%, and nothing will comfort you faster than a McDonald’s Vanilla cone, or fries, or a Wendy’s frosty or a Taco Bell soft taco.
The truth of the matter was my last week or so was filled with an obscene amount of fast food.
Like gross levels.
Sure I was “avoiding” the 4’cs but letting my substitutions fly.
Knowing that stress will, “still be a thing” and so will drive-thru I decided that it was time to cut out another “food group,” I just don’t need.
Fast food gets the Axe.
We’re not in too deep yet, play catch up below.
There is a myriad of diets, workouts, and tips out there to capture the heart and minds of the masses. I will clear out some of the noise and give you the first diet you need to be on before you can truly succeed in any meaningful way.
Nothing can help to get your thoughts in order more than putting pen to paper. Moreover, after the year we just had, I’m guessing you have a lot on your mind.
I went into covid times with a pretty solid comfortability with little contact with others (re I cry alone) and daily helpings of ambiguity for breakfast.
Things are getting done and fires are extinguished, but I do not FEEL like I’m winning…why?
In our quest for survival, situation notwithstanding, most of us are maintaining with a combination of determination and apathy.
…in the past, I was building a castle, but this round, I'm just working on a rambler (that I can upgrade later).
…you will offer it up on the chopping block, but don't. This is why it's called a CHALLENGE.
This month's challenge will not change the randomness of life and death events, but it will increase your odds of having a loving convo with someone you care about before you no longer have the option.
If you have ever been in a situation where you were fearful or upset, you must have realized that doing nothing made it worse.

I realized that I no longer needed the same amount of comfort I did in April of 2020.
